Madison Quilt Expo 2014

First of all I want to apologize if I have offended any one with my photos for not mentioning your name.....   I have always taken photos at the quilts show and posted them on my blog for everyone to see that did not make it to the show.    I do not always write down the name of the person or persons who made the quilt,  I just love the beauty of the quilt and want everyone to enjoy them as much as I do.  
I work a full time job and have not had the time to blog like I use to,  to  post all the info with the photos.   So please forgive me if I have posted a photo of your quilt and didn't mention your name just email me and I will take if off the blog.

PURPLE QUILT

Purple quilt,  which does not have a name yet........   but I pulled this out of my UFOs and decided to get the top put together so it will be ready for quilting when I get my NEW MACHINE.

I get bored when I'm not painting and I don't watch television, so I figured this would be a good time to finish up some of the UFOs.   I already design the quilting pattern for this, so I'm a little excited to start quilting again.

I'M BACK HOME DECORATING

Finally got this all straighten out so I can start posting pictures again.    Now to bring you up to date....

We move back to Illinois again which took us three months after we sold our home in northern Wisconsin.   I decided that I will never move again........    We bought a ranch style home which I'm up dating to a Country French look.     I have never bought so much white paint in my life.  lol
Will post pictures as I complete the rooms.

Working on the basement for my studio which is exciting.   Can hardly wait to get it all organized.

   

                                       I have soooooo many boxes that need to be emptied.
                                             Most of it is fabric and quilting supplies.

 

 

 

 

 

The seasoned room which I ripped out old carpet, painted white,  and laid 1008 patio bricks.  The porch swing is from my parent front porch which has a lot of memories.    New to make white pillows,  cushions,  add grapevine with mini lights and figure out what I want to do with the windows.     I call this my garden room  where I read, listen to music, and sew.

 

 

 

 

 

 

















  

Poppy Quilt

 

Kind of hard to see the border from the top side.....     The back is black so the red thread will look great.

 

This is the third pattern quilt pattern that I'm quilting for Sandy for another show kit.

 

The sashing is the only quilting that you can see from the front
