Can believe the excitement when I saw the truck backing up the drive ......    Yippee!!

 

This is Rick the young man that is very polite doesn't

 talk much while he is working and setting up.     Me I just keep on chatting away......    He apologize for not talking while he's working.     I can see why......     I finally left him alone to finish the set up.

He kept hogging the machine.......    lololol   He was making sure the tension and stitches were perfect.     So much knowledge about the Innova!

It has been a year since I have quilted.....     WOW!!  this sure feels  goooood.     Purrs just like a kitten!!

 

Love the LED light.....    I will be able to my stitches when I working on a white whole cloth.

First up will be Suzan's  challenge quilt,   then the quilt for The Art of  Collaboration  May 2.

 

Tomorrow I will not be watching the super bowl,    I will be quilting with the Super Innova!

Gave the quilt that  because of the block and we lived by the Chippewa River in Northern Wisconsin 

 

 

Paper pieced this two years ago for a quilt challenge MQS in Kansas but it never got there...

 

 

The bread and butter design for the quilt.....     I really need to go in and tweak this design,    It's like what was I thing.....      Now after Proud Mary is here,   (thursday)   It will get quilted.    I started quilting  the  border and will need to rip out all the stitches and start over.

Got a phone call from Uniquely Yours wanting a panel quilted for a show in Texas Feb 3,     eeeeeegads.......    told her that I didn't have my INNOVA yet.     But the good person I am,  I made a phone call to my SIL to borrow her machine for a couple of days.    It was kind of fun but I really want to do some serious quilting.       (like custom)     This was good practice to get back in the hang of it after a year of not having a longarm.

Christmas quilt top that I  design last year for Christmas for the cabin.    Didn't get a chance to quilt it as I sold my machine,  but it is on my to do list when Proud Mary gets here. 

 

In the process of the design......    I thought it would get with red plaid  and white sheets for a bedroom Christmas theme.    See the mantel headboard??   I built that!!     I wish I could do that again in the new home.    To many windows.  

 

Played around with some quilting designs,   I'm sure when it some time to quilt the top I will change a few design ideas.

Wedding Quilt 2011

 

Reposting some of my work for those of you that are just looking at the blog.  

 

Weeding quilt that went to Mexico back in 2011.    I design it on the EQ6 with Ohio Block.    I like the rest of the quilt open for quilting.    All my quilt that I design are white with a little color.    I will  print out the pattern and play with different quilting designs to complement the top.

Innova LongArm Meeting

What an amazing day I had,   this  was my first time meeting the INNOVA longArmers.   (if that is a word)   lol     I learned soooooo much about my new machine and had fun sharing photos and ideas.

 

 

Jeff, owner of Accomplish Quilting Inc. was going over bobbin tension,   different threads.     A questions and answers.   

I really wanted to push everyone out of the way just to have a little play time quilting.    It has been a year since I have quilted.    But I contained myself........     Just be patient!!!
